DAVID STEGER

Founder and President

David Steger is an entrepreneur, best-selling author, cybersecurity evangelist, and the Founder and President of ManagePoint. With more than 30 years of experience in IT, David has dedicated his career to helping businesses eliminate technology frustration, strengthen cybersecurity, and build smarter, more resilient IT environments.

His journey began in small-town Wisconsin, working in his family’s third-generation HVAC business. It was there he learned the values that define him today: work hard, do things right, take care of people, and always stand behind your word. Those lessons shaped his philosophy when he launched ManagePoint in 2003—a company built on partnership, trust, and unwavering commitment to client success.

Today, David is a trusted advisor to small and mid-sized businesses across the region, specializing in managed IT services, cybersecurity protection, cloud solutions, and network optimization. He believes technology should never be a burden—it should be a powerful engine for growth. His passion is helping business leaders reduce risk, improve efficiency, and confidently navigate an increasingly complex digital world so they can focus on what matters most: building great companies.

Outside of his professional work, David is a devoted husband, proud father of four, active community leader, and committed man of faith. He brings authenticity, integrity, and heart into everything he does—personally and professionally.
